RETURNS
Any return must have proper authorization in advance. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking charge and return shipping costs. All returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.  Clearance items may not be returned. Returned products must be packed in the original containers with all of the packing materials. The item must be unused and suitable for re-sale. Cottage Outfitters is not responsible for return shipping costs and is not responsible for any shipping damage.

Products which are made to order may not be returned, nor will you be allowed to cancel your order. Because these items are made to your specifications and are unique, they cannot not be returned to stock or resold. The only exception to this policy is if the product does not materially conform to the description advertised on this web site. Please take care when ordering any product.

All refunds are issued in the form of a check, regardless of payment method.

TERMS
Payment in full at time of order. Cottage Outfitters accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards. You may also pay by check through the mail. 

SHIPMENTS
Delivery times vary with the type of product and the time of year and sometimes change without notice. If you have a critical delivery requirement please discuss it with our sales representatives to make sure that our current delivery times will meet your needs. We will make every reasonable effort to get the product to you on time, but we do not offer delivery time guarantees.

Most items are shipped via UPS.   The cost for shipping will be calculated based on the total value of the order. Check the link at the top of every page to see the cost of shipping. Some items are shipped for free. If there is no shipping charge there will be a FREE SHIPPING label below the purchase button.

For orders shipped by freight: All orders are checked for completeness and condition prior to shipment. It is the trucking company's responsibility to get it to you in good condition.  Any shortage or damage must be noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery. If damage is found after the driver has left, the trucking company must be notified and a claim filed as soon as possible.

COLORS
Colors presented on this site may vary from the true color because of difference in monitors. In addition, colors vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Color names are also used to describe different colors or shades of colors. The color "tan", for example, is often used interchangeably with "ivory" and "beige". Please be sure to confirm any critical colors with your salesperson.
